The Community Development Department is currently processing a high volume of applications and appointment requests. Efforts are underway to bring in additional staff resources, however recruiting and training additional staff will take some time. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this current backlog. City Staff are committed to processing all applications as quickly as possible and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

We are doing our best. Many of us were not here when the backlog began. While we get the frustration, it is less than helpful to our efforts when customers are hostile, angry, or aggressive towards our staff. It ends up being counterproductive and undermines the collective goal of advancing the current workload as quickly as possible.

Walk-In (E-Ticket) Service Instructions: This service is utilized for those wishing to conduct business at the Community Development counter. Select the reason for your visit and enter your name and contact information. It is recommended that you check the box to receive text alerts to be notified when your status changes after you check in at City Hall. You will be placed in the queue and must sign in at the kiosk within two hours of creating your E-Ticket. E-Ticket is only available between 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
Book an Appointment Instructions: This service is utilized for those wishing to schedule a virtual or telephone appointment with a specific Planner, an appointment to submit a Development Review Application, or an in-person appointment with a Building Plan Reviewer. Select the staff person that you would like to meet with and enter your name and contact information.
